For our first panel discussion, we get up close and personal with three collectors — getting to know more about them and understanding what makes them tick!
V-Meng
V-Meng is a private investor and is married with two teenagers. He is into all brands of watches since 2010, and does not have a favourite brand — but he has a biase for Seiko and Orient Watches! To him, microbrands fill a void in the entry level luxury range.
Karina Goh
A senior registered nurse in the private sector, Karina is married to a passionate watch collector and share their lives with two teenagers. In 2020, she began her own watch collection, with a particular fondness for watches with blue dials. She is kept busy with balancing both her career and family, but she loves the thrill of discovering new timepieces along the way.
Gordon Khoo
Gordon runs his own leadership coaching practice and is also an avid watch photographer, who posts regularly on Instagram as @thedailycomplication. He fell love with watches 3 years ago when he received an engagement present from his then-fiancée, now wife — a Rolex Milgauss. He has a soft spot for microbrands because they allow him to connect directly with the brand owners. There’s something special about hearing their stories and sharing their design process.
