2024 Sunfish Sailing Event Registration
Join us for a fun and memorable sailing experience on the beautiful Utah Lake!

Location:
- Most events take place at Utah Lake State Park near the south launch ramp.
- Other locations are available by prior arrangement.
Cost:
- Sailing is FREE!
- Utah Lake State Park entrance fee: $20/car, $5/walk-in.
- Donations are encouraged: $10/person (cash, check, or Venmo @jwdfamily).
Who Can Participate:
- Groups: Scouts, families, church groups, work groups, youth conferences, YSA wards, YW, YM, EQ, RS, and more!
- Mondays: Reserved for Young Single Adult groups and Family Home Evening.
Special Notes:
- Sloop Only (until June 22nd): Sunfish not available, smaller sloop available for groups under 6.
- Training: Brief instruction provided after boat setup, no formal lessons.
- Equipment: 6-7 boats (up to 3 people each), 3 kayaks, 1 canoe. Life vests provided.
- Participation: All participants must help unload, set up, and reload the boats.
- Scouts: Merit badge groups should reserve 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
- September: Only daytime events available due to early sunsets.
